What is this policy about?

The Peter & Paul’s Mission believes it is important to let the Christian community that use the mission, and anyone else, know how we collect, use and disclose your personal information when you use the mission’s facilities. There are conditions of being a member of the mission and this policy document should be read in conjunction with the membership conditions. A copy can be obtained by contacting us if one is not attached to this document.

What data do you gather about me?

Personal information that we collect about you is provided to us by yourself. It includes: phone numbers, physical address, email address, and with what departments of the mission you are registered.

What do we do with your individual data?

The Peter & Paul’s Mission collects your personal information so we can:

1) Maintain our records for internal administration purposes.

2) Keep you informed on mission progress and involvement.

3) Keep you informed on what the managers of the mission are involved in on a regular basis.

4) Process your application to join a sector and participate in the campaigns they run.

5) To identify you to the sectors of which you are a financial member.

6) To keep you posted on information that we think you are interested in. This includes: information about other campaigns from other sectors of which you are not a member; features on our website; news from other campaigns such as campaigns run by our leadership teams and other Christian missions not part of the Peter & Paul’s Mission. Without this personal information we will not be able to provide these services for you.

Can anyone else get access to my individual data?

In our terms of mission membership (that you agree to when joining a Sector), we explain under which terms your personal information may be disclosed to parties outside the Peter & Paul’s Mission.

Your sector, or a campaign you are involved in from the sector that you’re not a financial member of, but you have chosen to get involved in their campaign, may disclose your personal information to individuals or organisations that are being lobbied, or display your personal information of any campaign that you are publically involved with and this shall be construed as including references to printing, lithography, photography and other modes or representing or reproducing words in a visible form. This could include releasing information to an individual organisation or a person.

The Peter & Paul’s Mission will share your individual data (personal information) with other members of the mission so you can connect to other members who share your Christian values and are a part of the Great Commission.

Peter & Paul’s Mission also shares your personal information with outside parties that we employ to help us in performing our task in the Great Commission. Some of the bodies we engage may include, but is not limited to, service providers, volunteers, churches, other sectors within the mission, as well as other departments of the mission. Any parties having access to your personal information are bound by strict confidentiality agreements apart from those outlined in this privacy policy. We will not share your personal information with any third party unless you have given us your consent or as required by law.

Will you use my personal data for any other reason?

In discharging our duties in the Great Commission that the Lord has called us all to take part in, we may use your personal information if we believe it is necessary to do so. This could include sharing your information with parties outside the mission. Some of these circumstances may include, but are not limited to, to prevent or help identify fraud or serious credit violations, to protect our interests such as disclosing information to a court of law or if the mission and assets are being transferred to another party as a going concern; and to protect the rights or personal safety of our users, employees, volunteers, members of the mission or members of the public.

How do I unsubscribe from accepting emails from you?

You can unsubscribe from receiving any emails from the Peter & Paul’s Mission at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails.

How can I modify or erase the data you keep about me?

You need to contact us to update or delete the information we keep about you. Please note, the Peter & Paul’s Mission reserves the right to keep a copy of your personal information to comply with our record keeping and legal obligations.

Is my data safeguarded?

While Peter & Paul’s Mission Ltd take all reasonable steps to secure your personal information, because of the nature of information sent over the internet we cannot guarantee that your information will always be secure and as such we will not be responsible for any liability, loss or damage arising from unauthorised access to your information.  This also includes the physical storage of your information.
